Our Waters:
Middle Tennessee is home to a diverse fishery. We have both warm and cold water, with many species of fish that can be targeted with a fly rod. Species such as Rainbow, Brook and Brown trout. Striped, Hybrid, Large and Small Mouth bass, and rough fish such as Carp and Gar. Private Water Trout is also available.
About Steve:
Steve is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Instructor and fly fishing guide for Fly South fly shop in Nashville, Tennessee. Steve has fished the waters from Alaska to Florida; however, the Caney Fork River in Middle Tennessee is his home water. Steve is best known for his unique streamer fishing techniques, which has produced some “career fish” for some of his clients.

"Every time I would come home to Nashville to visit family and friends Steve and I would banter around the idea of fishing together. Finally last spring we were able to schedule a day on the Caney. I can say with all honesty, despite all the self-created hype, it did not disappoint. Steve knows every inch of that water! He put me on a big fish right out of the gate -- so the rest of the day I could relax and just catch more fish. We fished small nymphs, stripped streamers, ate a delicious hot lunch, caught plenty of fish, and laughed a ton. I look forward to fishing with Steve again in the near future."

I am sorry it has taken me so long to send you these pictures. I really, really enjoyed our float trip. That was my biggest fish in my 10 years of fly fishing. We will have to do it again soon.
